Ushers/Greeters

Allen Phillips

The Ushers/Greeters ministry welcomes members and visitors to church services, providing assistance and ensuring a positive and orderly experience. This ministry plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and helping attendees feel comfortable and connected.

Audio/Visual

Anton Pickett

The Audio/Visual team handles all audio and visual equipment for church services and events, ensuring high-quality sound and visuals to enhance the worship experience. This includes operating equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with other ministries to support their audio/visual needs.

Church Beautification Ministry

Sandra Woodfy

The Church Beautification Ministry is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the church's facilities and grounds. This ministry involves coordinating volunteers for cleaning, decorating, gardening, and other projects that keep the church environment welcoming and beautiful. By creating a visually pleasing space, the Church Beautification Ministry helps to foster a sense of pride and reverence within the church community, ensuring that the physical surroundings reflect the spiritual warmth and hospitality of the congregation.

Convalescent Ministry

The Convalescent Ministry visits and ministers to church members who are sick, homebound, or in nursing homes, providing spiritual support and encouragement. This ministry ensures that those unable to attend church services still feel connected to the church community and receive pastoral care.

Deaconess

Eugenia Washington-Johnson

The Deaconesses support the church's ministry by caring for the needs of the congregation, particularly focusing on women and families. They assist in organizing and facilitating church events, providing spiritual support, and helping with the preparation and distribution of communion. Deaconesses are committed to serving the church community with compassion and dedication, ensuring that all members feel supported and cared for.

Deacons

Marques Johnson

The Deacons assist with the spiritual and practical needs of the church, providing leadership and support to the pastor and congregation. Their responsibilities include serving during worship services, visiting the sick and homebound, and offering guidance and assistance to church members. Deacons play a vital role in ministering to the congregation and helping to maintain the church's spiritual health and well-being.

Elderly Outreach

The Elderly Outreach ministry is dedicated to serving and supporting the elderly members of the church, providing companionship, assistance, and spiritual care. This ministry ensures that elderly members remain connected to the church and receive the support they need.

Benevolent

GioVonna Washington-Woodfy

The Benevolent ministry provides support and assistance to those in need within the church community, offering care and resources during difficult times. This includes coordinating charitable activities, distributing aid, and providing emotional and spiritual support to those facing hardships.

Intercessory Prayer

Music Ministry

Church Administrator

Pastor's Aide

The Pastor's Aide supports the pastor through various tasks and responsibilities, ensuring they can effectively lead and minister to the church. This includes assisting with administrative duties, coordinating special projects, and providing personal support to the pastor.

Sisters In Christ

The Sisters In Christ ministry encourages spiritual growth and fellowship among the women of the church through events, studies, and support groups. This ministry aims to build strong, supportive relationships among women and empower them in their faith journeys.

Sunday School Superintendent

The Youth Ministry offers programs and activities for children and teenagers, guiding them in their faith journey and fostering a sense of community. This includes:
• Ages 0-9: Engaging young children with age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Ages 10-13: Providing pre-teens with opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship.
• Ages 14-18: Supporting teenagers in their faith and personal development through various programs and events.

Computer & Technology Technician

Anton Pickett

The Computer & Technology Technician ensures the smooth operation of all computer and technology systems within the church, supporting both staff and ministries. This role includes maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing the church's website and social media platforms, and providing technical support for live-streaming services and other digital needs. The technician also assists in training staff and volunteers on the use of technology to enhance communication, outreach, and ministry effectiveness, helping the church leverage technology to better serve its mission and congregation.

Hospitality

The Hospitality ministry creates a warm and welcoming environment for all church events and services, ensuring visitors and members feel valued and cared for. This includes organizing refreshments, greeting attendees, and coordinating hospitality efforts for special events.

Brotherhood

Marques and Anton

Brotherhood Ministry is to create an environment for men and boys to respond to God’s call for salvation and service. We also seek to grow men spiritually and encourage them to be godly men and husbands. Our goals are to help men grow in Christ, develop much needed relationships with other men in the church, strengthen, them and strengthen their families also, so the church can reach more souls through their ministry.

Church Secretary

Ericka Mitchell

The Church Secretary is responsible for managing various communication tasks such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and engaging with others in person. They also handle record-keeping duties, maintaining church databases and membership records. Additionally, the secretary prepares and distributes correspondence, including letters, and is tasked with taking and distributing meeting minutes to ensure clear communication and organization within the church.

Praise Dance Ministry

The Praise Dance Ministry is a vibrant and spiritually uplifting group dedicated to expressing worship through the art of dance. This ministry offers participants a powerful way to connect with God and the congregation by using movement as a form of praise, reflection, and celebration. Through choreographed routines set to gospel music, members embody messages of faith, hope, and love, while inspiring others to feel the presence of God. Open to individuals of all skill levels, this ministry fosters a sense of unity, community, and devotion to the Lord through creative expression.
